I decided to roll a dice to find the winner of my Kells Bird Giveaway... We have quite a lot of multi sided dice knocking around at our house so I thought it would give this runic set a good excuse to get used again!
And so the winner is... number 4.... Christina, of Mermaid in the attic! Which means it will be going all the way to Australia... quite a flight for a small bird!
Well done Christina, and thankyou to all of you who left a comment, its always so nice to read your kind words - sorry you couldn't all get to win, but I'm sure I'll do another Giveaway at some future point... Thanks again everyone!

ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Christina!
ReplyDeleteAnd congratulations on, and many thanks for your wonderful blog, Carrie!
(Very cool dice, by the way.)
Congratulations to Christina and how lovely to think your artwork will be winging it's way to the otherside of the world a year on from you first starting your blog. What a great way of marking the occasion!
ReplyDeleteHi!
ReplyDeleteI just found your blog on Beauty Flows, and I plan to follow you. I love your illustrations, and wish you good luck in your plans to illustrate children's books. I'm a daycare worker, and have loved children's books since my son was little (29 years).
As well, I have a project of a children's book that I've been working on for several years, maybe your blog will inspire me to take it up again.
Regardless I know I'll enjoy your art for it's own sake.
Cheers!
Brenda
Thanks for taking part everyone! It was so nice that so many of you liked my little bird!
ReplyDeleteAnd Hi Brenda, lovely to meet you! Thanks for your kind comments on my illustrations - good luck with your own children's book projects too! If I could actually inspire someone through my blog I'd be really chuffed and rather surprised, well you never know!
Best wishes...
